OUR GOALS: Soldiers to Sawyers - S2S Veterans Mission was created as a resource for 501c19 Combat Veterans membership. As determined by IRS, our membership supports Vets and their families through community posts. Our focus then is on improving the greater community quality of life. S2S will be supporting industrial manufacturing, through trades training to create sustainable career development. This planning supports a living wage for our Vets.
MILESTONES: Inception was in 2013 with a timber donation. That created an advisory board for development for Veterans Mission planning. Urban timber waste streams support our primary goals, and we will seek out sponsoring memberships, grants, and donated material assets to develop our non-profit program training sites. IRS approval as a tax exempt 501c19 further supported networking alliances. Initiation of local co-operative training has begun from three Lake County Ohio sites.
URBAN TIMBER & S.T.E.M EDUCATION Community Mission programs will support our ecology too. Where we live requires our stewardship. That supports our quality of life.
By introducing school S.T.E.M. education projects Veterans Mission will offer a wide knowledge base of support to our generation of students. Essentially S2S brings a vision of optimism from project based partnered directives. This collective planning seeks people and resources to develop community vitality. Our Veterans trades training initiatives, as a sponsor for S.T.E.M. in schools, will enable our communities with the trades, necessary to a future of green entrepreneurial economies.
